The why
What makes me tick
Easily distracted by dogs, powerless to resist my love of horses, I practise yoga, enjoy photography, 4WD'ing, going to the theatre and own a chocolate labrador named Ernie. Cliched former captain of the debating team, I am leaning into my love of learning, curiosity and a maturing sense of justice.
The charities I actively support include; Full Stop, The Cova Project, White Ribbon, Arise Foundation, Lou's Place and WWF. This gives some insight into my drive to support those who have been impacted by FDV and/or institutional abuse with particular interest in the legal systems survivors must navigate. Inspired by Jennifer Robinson, Jess Hill, Anne Summers and Bri Lee, I applied for Law and am studying with the aspiration of making a meaningful contribution.
